If power is not supplied in this way, the condenser microphone will not work properly, so make sure that your mixer or microphone preamplifier can provide 48-volt phantom power.
Dynamic microphones are rougher and less sensitive, but provide a more rounded sound and do not emphasize high frequencies too much. They are often used for rock and hip-hop vocals. Dynamic microphones do not require additional 48-volt phantom power. So it will be more convenient to use.
In addition to the microphone, you may also need to choose some equipment, such as a microphone stand, shock mount, pop filter, etc. If your song has a large number of "B" and "P" pronunciations, then the help of the blowout cover will be great, , It can help filter out these blasting sounds, and it will cost you a lot of time and energy to not deal with it later.

After preparing these, we must install things. The position of the vocal microphone should avoid corners and surfaces that are easy to radiate, and should not be placed in the center of the room.
Do not place the microphone stand exactly in the center of the microphone, and slightly deviate it, aim the microphone at the singer's mouth, about 8-12inch (20-30cm) away, the blowout shield should be closer to the mouth, and slightly angled, do not Parallel to the microphone diaphragm.
But in the end you need to decide which distance is best for you. If in doubt, place two microphones at two distances and record at the same time to see which one works better.
